For over a decade, the members for Phi Tau Omega Sorority – Kappa Alpha Chapter have been saving their Best Choice® Family of Brands labels to be turned into Save-A-Label®. The funds they receive in return are used to assist people in need in their community. Serving the people of Iola, KS, the Kappa Alpha Chapter provides prepaid gas cards, clothing, and food while volunteering their time with community projects.
The chapter members are always happy to help, whether they are serving breakfast at Eat and Meet Santa Clause, donating food to the Community Food Pantry, or giving to organizations like Honor Flight Network that serve veterans. “We may be a small group, but I feel that we work well as a team and our goal is to assist those in need,” said member Janet Wilson. “The funds we receive from Save-A-Label are used to help those in need in any way possible.”
