For more than 15 years, the members of the Grant Chapel AME YPD have been collecting Best Choice® labels for the Save-A-Label™ program. YPD is a youth and young adult ministry within the AME Church. Its members focus on assisting with the needs of people in the community where they worship and serve. They use the funds raised from the Save-A-Label™ program to help at-risk young people and the displaced of their community through a variety of events.
What keeps them going? Collecting labels is an ongoing mission project in memory of one of their deceased members. Family members in their congregation help collect labels to keep their mission alive.
