Phillips County Auxiliary Volunteers
For many years, the Phillips County Auxiliary Volunteers have been a shining example of how compassion and community spirit can make a lasting impact. Based in Phillipsburg, Kansas, this all-volunteer, not-for-profit group supports the Phillips County Health Systems Hospital through fundraising, patient-centered initiatives, and scholarships for future healthcare professionals. With 49 dedicated volunteers and strong community backing, the Auxiliary works tirelessly to enhance patient care by funding comfort-focused projects and purchasing needed hospital equipment. Each year, they also award a scholarship to a Phillips County student pursuing a career in healthcare, helping ensure a bright future for rural medicine. For the past seven years, the Auxiliary has participated in the Save-A-Label program, collecting Best Choice Family of Brands product labels purchased at White’s Foodliner from community members and fellow volunteers. These labels turn everyday purchases into meaningful contributions for patient improvement projects and healthcare initiatives. “We have many volunteer members who are excited to use Best Choice products because they know they’re helping us raise funds to support our mission,” shared Cassie Taylor, Vice President of the Phillips County Auxiliary Volunteers. “The Save-A-Label program is an easy, ongoing way for our community to give back.” Driven by compassion and supported by their generous community, the Phillips County Auxiliary Volunteers continue to make a profound difference for patients, families, and the future of rural healthcare.
