The Save-A-Label™ program gives community organizations, big and small, a simple way to raise funds. In one year, the program turns more than 1.2 million cases of Best Choice® family of brand products purchased by consumers into funds to help organizations in states all over the country.

Why should you join?

It’s Easy!

Simply buy products from the Best Choice® family of brands at your favorite local grocer and save the UPC (proof of purchase) from the product’s label. Join with other organization members to bundle your UPCs into groupings of 1000 and send them in to Best Choice® with a redemption form. Your organization will earn $30 in cash for each bundle of 1,000 UPCs sent to us. On your first redemption of each year, we’ll add an extra $30 bonus. It’s our way of saying:

History of the Program




Best Choice® products first hit shelves in 1985. The Save-A-Label™ program came along two years later in 1987. It was originally developed as a short-term promotion to help local grocers support their communities, but it became so popular that it continued as a permanent program. In 2014, the Clearly by Best Choice® products were introduced and gave customers another way to earn funds. Best Choice® Superior Selections®, the final member of the Best Choice® family of brands, came about in 2020 adding even more quality products for consumers.

More than 8,900 Save-A-Label™ organizations are loyal to the exclusive Best Choice® family of brands. The program has regularly paid out in excess of $215,000 yearly, which helps connect Best Choice® to non-profit organizations and back to local grocery retailers. Over the years, participating organizations have raised more than $3 million dollars simply by collecting labels from the Best Choice® family of brands.
